Varsity Competition Cheerleading

My name is Charita Hardy Bowers and I was born and raised as an only child in Jackson, Georgia where I was very active in my community and participated in cheerleading until I graduated in 2003. I graduated High School from Jackson High School. I continued with my education at the collegiate level and received my Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Science - Radiation Therapy and Master's in Adult Education and Community Leadership with a Concentration in Human Resources from Armstrong Atlantic State University, now known as Georgia Southern University.  I have been blessed to have been at SCPS for over 15 years. Each year I continue to grow and meet new people. I'm a fun, bubbly, and energetic person who thrives on connecting with others and being a positive inspiration wherever I go. I'm motivated, determined, and always strive to give my best - especially as a proud mom raising my son Oaklen, a role I am truly grateful for everyday. 

It is always a great day to be a Raider and be here at the Prep! I have proudly worked for SCPS for over 15 years, continuing my leadership as a College Counselor, Cheerleading Program Director, and Head Coach. Guided by my faith, I strive to always do my best and serve with purpose, fueled by my love for the sport of cheerleading  and the athletes and students I work with every day. I am so excited to see what the future has in store and I will remain committed  to do my best at all times. SCPS is truly an amazing place and a home away  from home!
