Service

Sharing Christ’s Love Beyond our Walls

At Savannah Christian, community service is an integral part of our mission to nurture compassionate, Christ-centered leaders. Students across all grade levels are encouraged to serve others through local outreach projects, volunteer initiatives, and partnerships with community organizations. These experiences help students develop empathy, responsibility, and a heart for service, while providing meaningful opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

By actively engaging in service, SCPS students learn to live out their faith in practical ways and contribute to building a stronger, caring community.

Upper School Service Club

The Upper School Service Club partners with several local organizations, including Urban Hope. Recently, they visited Urban Hope to volunteer at a Fall Festival hosted by the Whitefield Center.
Middle School Raider Time

During a recent Raider Time advisory, our middle school students practiced putting other first by picking up trash and helping keep our campus clean and beautiful.
All-School Service Project

Each year during homecoming week, our entire school community comes together to donate food, make cards, and pack food bags for P.A.C.K, a local non-profit organization serving food-insecure children.
PTF Santa Chase

Our Parent-Teacher Fellowship organization partners with our Upper School Service Club each winter to host a “Chase Away the Cold” coat drive. New and gently used coats are then donated to Urban Hope and P.A.C.K. This drive is sponsored in conjunction with PTF’s Santa Chase 5K and Fun Run.
Upper School Best Buds Club

Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to serve our lower school students in the classroom! Volunteer opportunities include reading assistance, crafts, and other academic activities.
Second Grade P.A.C.K. Field Trip

Our second grade classes went on a field trip to P.A.C.K. Savannah. While there, students packed weekend food bags for children in the community, made cards, and learned about helping those in need.
