SCPS Senior Named 2026 National Merit Semifinalist

The nationwide pool of Semifinalists represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors who earned the highest scores on the 2024 PSAT.

These academically talented high school seniors can continue in the competition for some 6,930 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring. About 95 percent of the Semifinalists are expected to attain Finalist standing, and approximately half will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar® title.
