Assistant principal for 14 years before becoming principal for 17 years

From 1973-1997, coached the basketball team to 427 victories
Head football coach from 1982 to 1991, winning two GISA state titles
Coached golf until his retirement in 2011, claiming eight state crowns, including five in a row from 1998 to 2002
Won a girls’ state golf title in 2006
Won seven state football titles and a pair of basketball titles in the Georgia Independent School Association
Was a part of 18 state titles in three sports and finished second six times
Inducted into the Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame
