We are delighted to have your student join us at Savannah Christian Preparatory School. Below are some helpful links and explanations of what to expect in the coming year.   • Allergies and Medical Forms

    Over the summer, you will receive a notification from Blackbaud to complete the annual health information on our school portal. If you have any questions about these forms, please contact our school nurse, Mrs. Blake Vickroy, at bvickroy@savcps.com.
  • Athletics Team Registration

    Savannah Christian offers athletic opportunities for students in grades 5th through 12th. For more information or to register your student, please contact our Athletic Director, Greg Phillips, at gphillips@savcps.com.
  • Campus Events

    Our upcoming campus events are updated throughout the year on our calendar page.
  • Campus Safety

    When school is in session, all campus visitors must first check in at the main gate. Each visitor must present a driver's license or identification card, be screened for clearance, and be issued a visitor's badge for a specific area of campus.

    We maintain trained safety personnel on-site before, during, and after school hours. 
  • Communication

    Our weekly newsletter, Raider Weekly, is emailed to families every Friday at 4 pm. This communication includes division-specific updates and school-wide announcements. 

    Additionally, Lower School (PK–5) teachers share a weekly "Peek of the Week" update, giving parents a preview of upcoming classroom activities, lessons, and units of study.

  • Parent/Student Handbook

    A copy of our Parent and Student Handbook is available electronically on our Blackbaud Parent Group.
  • Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

    The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at SCPS fosters meaningful partnerships between families and the school. Through volunteer support, community-building events, and collaboration with faculty and staff, the PTF works to enhance the student experience and strengthen connections across our school community. All SCPS parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to participate.

  • School Lunch

    Savannah Christian is proud to partner with FLIK Independent School Dining, a leader in providing exceptional dining experiences for independent schools nationwide. Through this partnership, our students enjoy fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals prepared with quality ingredients and a focus on wellness, variety, and sustainability. Together, SCPS and FLIK are dedicated to serving meals that fuel learning, growth, and success each day.

    All students may either bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch from the dining hall.  Parents will receive an email over the summer to create their child's lunch account.

    FLIK Dining Options

    PK-3rd Grade
    Students in PK through 3rd grade will have two lunch options available each day: a hot meal option and a cold meal option. To help streamline service and ensure accurate meal counts, teachers will collect each student's lunch preference in the classroom every morning. 

    4th-12th Grade
    Students in 4th through 12th grade have a variety of options at lunch, including a salad bar, sandwich station, and traditional hot meal.

  • School Store

    Savannah Christian's new school store, Skull House, will be located in the Business Office. Check back in August for new spirit wear, school essentials, Raider accessories, and more!
  • Summer Camp

    SCPS offers summer camps for students in rising kindergarten through eighth grade. For more information, please visit the Summer Camp page of our website. 
  • Summer Reading

    Summer reading is required for all new and current students. To access your child’s summer reading assignment, please visit the Back to School page on our website and scroll down to the “Summer Reading” tab. 
  • Tuition and Billing

    Your student billing account may be found on Blackbaud under the “Billing” tab. For questions, please contact Melissa Shuman from the business office at mshuman@savcps.com or 912-721-2118.
  • Used Uniform Closet

    The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) maintains a well-stocked used uniform closet with gently used uniforms available at discounted prices! The closet is located in the Kelley Gym. Please stop by the Business Office to receive a building pass before heading to the closet.
