Learning Support

Middle School (6-8)

Learning Support is a year-long elective that meets during the school day. Class sizes are small, with a maximum of 5–6 students per class. In Middle School, classes are organized by grade level.
Learning specialists work closely with students to support their core academic courses (Math, English, History, Science, and Bible) and academic electives (STEM, Spanish, etc.). They also provide additional study resources and help students develop skills in self-advocacy, executive functioning, and effective studying and test-taking strategies.

A separate Test Center is also available to provide a supervised, quiet space should extended time be needed on an assessment.
