Varsity Competition Cheerleading

Coach Charita Hardy Bowers was born and raised as an only child in Jackson, Georgia where she was very active in my community and participated in cheerleading until she graduated in 2003. Coach Bowers graduated High School from Jackson High School. She continued with her education at the collegiate level and received her Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Science - Radiation Therapy and Master's in Adult Education and Community Leadership with a Concentration in Human Resources from Armstrong Atlantic State University, now known as Georgia Southern University.  She has been blessed to have been at SCPS for over 15 years. "Each year I continue to grow and meet new people. I'm a fun, bubbly, and energetic person who thrives on connecting with others and being a positive inspiration wherever I go. I'm motivated, determined, and always strive to give my best - especially as a proud mom raising my son Oaklen, a role I am truly grateful for everyday."

It is always a great day to be a Raider and be here at the Prep! She has proudly worked for SCPS for over 15 years, continuing her leadership as a College Counselor, Cheerleading Program Director, and Head Coach. "Guided by my faith, I strive to always do my best and serve with purpose, fueled by my love for the sport of cheerleading  and the athletes and students I work with every day. I am so excited to see what the future has in store and I will remain committed  to do my best at all times. SCPS is truly an amazing place and a home away  from home!"
