The Asian tiger mosquito is dangerous to North America. It is invasive because these mosquitoes are responsible for passing very harmful viruses, like the West Nile Virus.

The Common Malaria Mosquito- The common malaria mosquito has a completely brown body. This mosquito is invasive to North America. This mosquito is problematic due to these mosquitoes being responsible for the spreading the disease known as malaria.

The Asian Long-Horned Beetle- The Asian long-horned beetle has long black antennae and a long black and white spotted body. This beetle is destructive to North America since it eats hardwood trees, which are a native species.

The Formosan Termite- The Formosan termite has a translucent yellow body and dark sharp pincers meant for cutting through wood. The Formosan termite is invasive to North America and possibly other places or continents. This termite is a menace because these termites outstrip other native species in the struggle for survival as well as cause structural problems with buildings.

The Argentine Ant- The Argentine ant has a small yellowish red translucent body. The Argentine ant is also invasive in every continent, but mainly in North America and South America. This ant has become an issue because it is decreasing the insect population in the areas of which it has been introduced.

The Big-headed Ant- The big-headed ant has a small reddish brown body. Big-headed ants are invasive because these ants are a potential threat to the native ant species all over the world.

The Glassy-Winged Sharp Shooter- The glassy-winged sharp shooter has a blackish brown body and a yellow and black underside. This insect is a problem because it is spreading diseases and eating and killing native plant species.

The Mediterranean Fruit Fly- The Mediterranean fruit fly looks like a bee with no stinger. The Mediterranean fruit fly is an invasive species in South America and North America. This species of insects is troublesome because it ruins food meant for humans.

The Killer Bee- The killer bee looks like the normal honey bee except that it is more aggressive. The killer bee is an invasive species in North and South America. These bees are very dangerous because they are attacking and killing humans as they invade more and more areas of which were previously inhabited by native honey bees.

The Silver Leaf Whitefly- The silver leaf whitefly has a small, yellow body and white wings. Due to spreading viruses that kill plants, the whitefly has become a menace in North and South America.
