Marine Biology
Marine Biology is a semester course for juniors and seniors.
This course covers the major marine phyla ranging from microscopic plankton to the largest mammals, the whales. The important chemical and physical properties of water, as well as the geological features of the ocean will be covered as well. It is geared to give the student a working vocabulary in the marine sciences and knowledge of ecosystem processes along the Atlantic coastline.
