~Grading Scale~
Grading varies according to the nature of the task; however, the following criteria apply to written assignments:
1. Has the student followed directions?

2. Content: is it relevant, accurate, original?

3. Organization: clarity, sequence, appropriate paragraphs.

4. Technical accuracy: spelling, grammar, punctuation.

5. Presentation: work should be neat, legible, and a ruler must be used to underline. Students are encouraged to print work on the computer if they wish.
Final grades comprise the following percentile:
Classwork: 25%
Assignments: 30%
Tests: 25%
Final Exam: 20%
