(4/18/08) Angela Leigh Poulos signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Palm Beach Atlantic University today.

A dual player on the soccer field, Angela plays both Forward and Goalie positions. In 2007, her teammates named her the Most Improved Player, perfecting her skills as Forward. This season, Angela has seven goals for the season to date that add to the Lady Raiders win tally. In 2005, Angela and the Lady Raiders tied for Region Champions and finished in Second Place in Region 2-AA in 2006 and 2007.

Angela is ready for the hot weather and pressure in West Palm Beach. This past season, the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish have four of their leading ladies named to the NCCAA All-American Soccer Team. Palm Beach Atlantic is a member of Division II Athletics in the NCAA and the National Christian College Athletic Association.

Angela is the daughter of David Poulos of Smyna, Georgia and DeeAnne Rowe of Savannah.
