Dear Mom & Dad,

Two weeks ago in Chapel we were talking about raising money for the Annual Fund Drive. I’d love it if all parents would participate in the Annual Fund Drive to get new Smart Boards, field trips, computers, and buses. I hope our family will participate in the Annual Fund Drive.

Love, Kelsie Strauch

Dear Mom & Dad,

Last week Dr. Lewis came and talked about Annual Funds Drive. The Annual Funds Drive is when parents give money to help. It pays for computers, field trips, school buses, and lots of other things. I hope our family can help participate in the Annual Funds Drive. SCPS Raiders are the best. We’d like to have a part in keeping that way.

Love, Douglas Gresham

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is the month of the Annual Fund Drive at SCPS. We have the fund drive to buy things for school like Smart Boards, computers, school buses, and a lot of other things. It helps raise money for field trips too. It would help our school if you donate just a little bit of your money.

Love, Frank Mazzolini

Dear Mom and Dad,

An Annual fund Drive is a drive we have every year at SCPS. We raise money once every year for things we need at school like computers, printers, software programs in every room, and media centers. Our school will pay for internet access, internet systems for everyone, the school website, various online web services and copies of The Raider Magazine every three months. I hope our family can participate in the fund drive. SCPS is the best. We’d like to have a part in keeping it that way or keeping it on top.

Love, Ashley Hanna

Dear Mom and Dad,

Our school needs some things to help us in school. You can help giving SCPS some money. You only need to give us five dollars or more if you would like. If you went to the PTF meeting, you saw the smart board. This is one of the things it will pay for we will just show you the whole list.

  • Some computers systems for both campuses
  • Field trips
  • Activities
  • More books
  • And school calendars for every student

You don’t have to give us money. We would just like you to. Thank you parents

From Chase Easter

Dear Parents,

There are many things that we need. I will list some below

  • Smartboards
  • Art supplies
  • PE Equipment
  • Books for the library
  • And other supplies

The donations would be appreciated. Send as much as you please.

Sincerely, Courtney Sanderlin

A number of SCPS students recently took part in preparing for our 2006-07 Annual Funds campaign by writing letters to parents asking for support. Following Lower School chapel visits by Dr. Lewis explaining the purpose of our Annual Funds and some of the things we purchase using Annual Funds income, some students accepted to the challenge to explain our Annual Funds and invite parental support.

During the month between October 17th and November 17th, our homerooms and grades will compete against each other for the Most Parent Participation, defined as the percentage of students in a homeroom whose parents give and/or pledge to this year’s Annual Funds.

Student Rewards

  • The PK-12th Homeroom with the most parent participation will receive a special, free non-uniform day and a pizza party.
  • The Daycare/Preschool Homeroom(s) with the most parent participation will receive a special party.
  • The PK-12th Grade with most parent participation will receive a special, free non-uniform day.

Teacher Rewards
