Once again a Savannah Christian Preparatory School Senior will have the opportunity to play on the collegiate level.
Jessica Hodges recently signed a letter of intent to play softball for Coastal Georgia Community College of Brunswick.
The past 4 years Jessica has played a key role on the Lady Raiders fast pitch softball team as a pitcher and 2nd basemen with three of those four years playing in the State Finals! As a four year letterman, she has also been listed in the Who’s Who among American Athlete for high school students. Jessica finished her senior year with a batting average of .481, 35 RBI's, 4 HR's, 7 2B's, 5 3B's, .848 Slugging percentage, .527 OBP, and a 1.20 ERA.
Jessica began her love of softball at the age of 5, when she played slow pitch softball for the Pooler Packers and spent many years on Packer softball fields most of those years ending at All-star playoffs. Outside of recreation ball Jessica played on many traveling teams spending most of her weekends and summers at a ballpark. Jessica began playing fast pitch in middle school which offered a whole new game for her and she transitioned from a shortstop player to a fast pitch pitcher. Since that time she collected numerous MVP's as well as offensive and defensive awards. Listed below are several awards.

Jessica is the 18 year old daughter of Michael and Terri Hodges of Savannah.
