Our 2006 Reflections art show held on Tuesday, March 14th, included musical performances, displays of
artwork and a fine reception. The previous evening, a number of judges reviewed the works on display
and awarded nearly fifty Upper School awards in fifteen Visual Arts and two Literature categories and
almost thirty Middle School awards in ten Visual Arts and two Literature categories.
The evening began with enjoyable, rousing performances in the cafeteria by the SCPS Middle School Band and
the Upper School Chorus. The crowds then moved to the Weeks Media Center to peruse works of visual art and
literature by middle and upper school students. The Reflections crowd also enjoyed solo and duet performances
throughout the evening by a variety of performers.
SCPS 11th grader Ashley Bond wond the Headmaster's Award for her tempera painting "Cezanne Still Life."
