SCPS Golfer Signs Letter of Intent

Chase McFarland
Savannah Christian Preparatory School Senior Chase MacFarland has signed a national letter of intent to play golf for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chase has been an important part of the Savannah Christian team that has won the state championship two of the last three years. A talented three-sport athlete, Chase also runs Cross Country and plays Basketball for the Raiders. Chase’s winning ways on the golf course, including a round of 32 appearance in the 2003 U.S. Junior Amateur and 2nd place in the Georgia Junior Championship, have led to his current ranking of #36 on the National Junior Golf Scoreboard. Chase is the son of Scott and Melinda MacFarland of Savannah.
