Savannah, GA -- Savannah Christian Preparatory School launched a new web site on Monday, March 3, 2003. The site is accessible at http://www.savcps.com.

Parents, alumni, potential SCPS applicant families and others have been able to access the school’s web site for several years and encouraged the school to adopt a more interactive and useful presence online.

SCPS staff worked with InspireUSA, Inc. -- a Savannah-based media production company that specializes in web and video production and consulting -- to redevelop and redesign the web site. SCPS Capital Campaign Director Lynn Lewis is the founder, President and CEO of InspireUSA. According to Dr. Lewis, “Most organizations start a web site because it’s a novelty and everyone else is doing it. Then it becomes a useful tool, and ultimately, a core tool that facilitates the mission and purpose of cutting-edge organizations.”

New features of the site include:

  • News and feature articles
  • Interactive calendar and online forms
  • E-mail addresses for all faculty and staff
  • Global drop-down directory allowing quick, simple navigation from almost any page in the web site
  • Internet and site search features
  • Upcoming additions will include teacher, class, and club pages

Popular features from the former web site that have been retained and “renovated” include downloadable admissions information, alumni news and profiles, school overviews, maps and directions.
