McGowan signs with South Georgia Junior College

Senior Jim McGowan has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball for South Georgia Junior
College. Jim had a 5-1 record in 2002 with 2.82 ERA. He batted .366 with a .471 on-base percentage.
He was honored as Best Defensive player on the Raider team that advanced to the semi-finals of the
2002 AAA state tournament. The son of Mike and Terri McGowan of Ludowici, Jim has commuted more
than 100 miles a day to Savannah Christian for the past six years.
