Savannah Christian Preparatory School’s annual income is derived from two primary sources - Tuition and Fees, and Annual Donations and Fundraisers. Tuition and Fees fund 100% of our essential operations, including: Payroll and business expenses related to our more than 200 employees. Operating expenses of two campuses totaling nearly 250 acres, including nineteen buildings plus roads, parking lots, fields, playgrounds and more. Primary educational expenses of our more than 1,400 PK-12 and more than 250 Daycare/Preschool students.
Annual Donations and Fundraisers allow us to further invest in staff training and additional tools, training, and resources. The school as a whole and various school classes, clubs, groups and teams engage in fundraising activities between July 1 and June 30 of each fiscal school year. General Annual Fund donations assist in the purchase of increasing technology and cutting-edge teaching needs, including: Computers for all teachers and students Software and licenses Printers, cables and other hardware supplies and upgrades Our entire Intranet and Internet network that allows everyone on campus to connect to each other, as well as to the Internet Video projectors, including projectors for our growing number of SmartBoards Interactive SmartBoards Continuing Education for teachers, including advanced technology training Curriculum materials and resources, including new textbooks series
| General Levels of Annual Support | | Friends | $180 | | General and miscellaneous support. | | Raider Club | $300 | | The basic level of support ($15/month) that our students need annually from all SCPS families and dedicated alumni. | | Leadership Circle | $600 | | Donors who give double the Raider Club level gifts. | | Investment League | $1,200 | Donors who exemplify the basic principle of compounding interest that money invested regularly over time yields great returns. | | Akins Foundation | $6,000 | Donors honor the annual commitment and sacrifi ce of SCPS founders, the late Rev. George Akins and Mrs. Harold Dean Akins, who dedicated their lives to the establishment of a biblically-based, Christ-centered college preparatory school in Savannah. | | Miracle Society | $10,000 | Donors who honor the visionary investments of the school’s first donors who participated in the miracle of raising $10,000 to help start SCPS in January 1951.
