The Upper School offers students a rigorous college preparatory curriculum. Electives are designed to expose the
students to a variety of opportunities, and a strong selection of accelerated and Advanced Placement courses are
available to challenge even the most capable students.
The strength of the academic program is matched by the quality of extracurricular activities available. As a
class 2-AA member of the Georgia High School Association, upper school boys and girls compete against private and
public schools across Georgia in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and track. Additional male
teams are fielded in football and baseball. Other female teams include cheerleading, softball and volleyball.
Clubs, honor societies and service organizations offer all students the opportunity to be involved in activities
that interest them.
Over 98 percent of our graduates attend college and a large percentage of Savannah Christian’s graduates earn the Hope
scholarship. The graduating class of 2007 received offers for nearly $1,000,000 in scholarships.
