Meetings
Media Teams will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the Upper School Media Center.
If you cannot participate during those times, there are available opportunities at other times.

Attention Sports Media Enthusiasts:
SCPS Productions is seeking students and parents interested in assisting athletic teams in videoing, editing,
and producing practice, game, and highlight films. Video games, download into computer, edit video and sound tracks,
and produce finished video tapes and DVD's. No experience or equipment required; training provided.

| Notice: A multi-media editing and production suite is available to SCPS students, school clubs and teams, administrators and faculty and other
school organizations. The video and music editing suite is the
Adobe Video Collection,
which includes Adobe "Premier Pro," "After Effects,"
"Encore" and "Audition." The print and web publishing suite is the
Adobe Creative Suite
which includes Adobe "Photoshop," "Illustrator," "GoLive" and "Acobat Professional."

Purpose and Scope
To facilitate student training and participation in media activities on and off campus in the following areas:
- Broadcast media – radio, television
- Digital media – graphic and computer arts
- Performance media – lighting, sound and staging
- Photography – digital and film
- Print media – magazines and newspapers
- Video media – movies/videos
- Web media – web sites
Areas of involvement
- The Raider and other school publications (brochures, directories, newspapers)
- School web site
- School yearbooks
- Classroom materials and presentations
- Videos for sports teams and classes, including the Senior video
- Community events, productions and publications. Select students may have feature opportunities to participate in community magazine, newspaper, radio, and television events, productions, programs and publications.
Opportunities
Students may participate in classroom and in-school activities, as Senior Aides, or on after-school teams in the following areas:
- Broadcast – announcer, DJ, editor, producer, writer
- Performance – sound, lighting and stage director and technicians
- Print – assignments, editing, interviewing, publishing, writing
- Video – directing, editing, licensing, producing, scripting, videography
- Web – administration, design, development, management, publishing
