The Upper School Drama Club is a one semester class held each Fall. Taught by Mrs. Donna Loyd, the class includes
a one-act play performed at school and at regional competition each year.
Class members learn acting, singing, dancing and production basics and enjoy unforgettable preparation and
performance experiences. Previous productions have included:

The Middle School Drama Class is a one quarter exploratory class designed to introduce students to the world
of theater and the craft of acting. Taught by Mrs. Wendy Lewis, the class culminates
in performances for Middle School chapel toward the end of each quarter.
Students learn by doing; they are involved in script selection, casting, set design, sound, lighting, blocking,
rehearsal, costuming and performance. According to Mrs. Lewis, "The students develop confidence as they rehearse
and participate in a variety of fun exercises. They learn to maintain eye contact with other characters, use
expressive gestures, move effectively on stage and improvise. They also learn to be team players, encouraging
each other and celebrating each other's successes."
