Valedictorian
Julie Ann Champion
Graduating with a 100.2 GPA, Julie served as co-president of the
National Honor Society, treasurer of the Beta Club and vice president
of the Fine Arts Club. Other club memberships included Praise and
Worship, Key Club, Math Team, Mu Alpha Theta, Quiz Bowl and Student
Council. Julie served as captain of the Color Guard, studied dance
for ten years and has volunteered with church youth groups, the
Appalachian Service Project, the Guatemala Health Project, the
Red Cross Blood Drive, and math tutoring programs.
Julie was a Governor’s Honors Participant in Mathematics,
an Armstrong Scholar in Mathematics, a University of Georgia
Certificate of Merit winner, a Presbyterian College Junior Fellow,
an Erksine College Fellow, a Furman Scholar, a Wofford Scholar,
a Gardner-Webb University Junior Scholar, a Commended Student on
the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and a President’s
Education Awards Program recipient. She received a Notable Award
in the 2002 Reflections Art Show and a First Place Award in Acrylics
in the 2003 and 2004 Reflections Art Competitions.
Julie and will be attending the Georgia Institute of Technology on
a Presidential Scholarship and plans to study architecture.

Anna-Marieta Moise
Anna was corresponding secretary of the National Honor Society and
treasurer of the Beta Club. She served as president of the Fine Arts
Club and was a member of the Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Math Team, Global
Forum, Quiz Bowl Team, Bible Club and the Savannah Youth Leadership Forum.
She was a member of the cross-country team, track team, and received the
United States Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award. Her volunteer
work included the Community Library, Special Olympics, elementary school
tutoring, church youth group and the Guatemala Service Project.
Anna made Yearly Headmaster’s List for four years. Her subject awards
included Old Testament, Algebra I, American Government, Geometry, Spanish
I, Spanish III, Biology, Business Law, Business Economics, Art & Design I,
and Advanced Biology. She was a University of Georgia Certificate of
Merit winner, an Erskine College Fellow, a Presbyterian College Junior
Fellow, a Wofford Scholar, a Savannah Morning News Student of Excellence
Award winner, an “I Dare You” Leadership Award winner, a President’s
Education Awards Program recipient and a State of Georgia Excellence in
Citizenship Award winner. Anna graduated with a 98.9 GPA and plans to
attend the University of Georgia to study pre-medicine.
