Below are our 2008-09 Barnabus characteristics:
- August-September: RESPECT
I Peter 2:17, “Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.”
- October: COOPERATION
Hebrews 10:24, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”
- November-December: GENEROSITY
II Corinthians 9:6, “…whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
- January: HONESTY
Proverbs 12:12, “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.”
- February: LOVE
I John 4:10, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
- March: HUMILITY
Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”
- April-May: LEADERSHIP
Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
