SCPS Annual Funds are charitable donations that provide a wide diversity of resources that greatly enrich
the educational experiences of SCPS students, families, staff and alumni, including:
- School computers, monitors, printers, and software for more than 1,500 students and more than 150 faculty and staff
- School Internet and Intranet expenses (including this website and E-Raider, which generate an
average of 20,000 hits by more than 600 different visitors per day)
- Copies of The Raider magazine for every SCPS household (approximately 6,000 issues per quarter
are distributed to current parents and grandparents, alumni, and other SCPS families and friends)
- New Smartboards, Tablet PC's, and video projectors
- Some books and classrooms supplies for 1,500 PK-12 students and 175 Daycare students for 180 days per year
- Continuing Education trips, opportunities and supplies
- And much more . . .
We invite all SCPS family and friends to give Annual Funds donations every year.
General levels of giving include:

- Raider Club donors commit to the basic level of charitable support that our students need annually
from all SCPS families and dedicated alumni.
- Leadership Circle donors commit Board-level commitments double our basic Raider Club gifts.
- Investment League donors exemplify the basic principle of compounding interest that a sum of money
invested regularly over time yields great returns.
- Akins Foundation level donors honor the annual commitment and sacrifice of SCPS founders
Rev. and Mrs. George Akins, who dedicated their lives to the establishment of a biblically-based, Christ-centered
college preparatory school in Savannah.
- Miracle Society level donors honor the visionary contributions of the first donors
who participated in the miracle of raising $10,000 in the month of January 1951
(short story, The Miracle - 7-minute movie).

Each annual campaign begins on July 1st and continues through June 30th of the following year.
Raised funds are disbursed the next budget year (i.e. funds raised during 2005-06 are spent during
the 2006-07 school year). We encourage undesignated giving, but donations may be designated for particular
clubs, events, funds, groups, teams, etc. However, charitable donations may NOT be designated to benefit specific
individuals. All donations to SCPS are charitable and tax deductible as allowed by law.
