Derek Moore has lived in Nashville, Tenn. since graduating from SCPS, receiving both undergraduate and medical degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is currently in the fifth year of his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Derek writes that he hopes to return to Savannah after completing his training and would like for his children to attend SCPS!
1992
Jamie McCurry and Kendall Ashley Maginnis were married August 2, 2003 in Baton Rouge, La. The couple lives in Savannah where Jamie is the national government sales specialist for Brasseler USA and Kendall is assistant director of exhibition sales for the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Kimberly Goodding Broerman is an associate pastor at St. Mark United Methodist Church in downtown Atlanta.
1994
Beth Ewaldsen Edmiston and her husband Bart have moved to Portland, Maine for Bart’s residency in anesthesiology. They will reside there for at least the next four years. Classmates can email Beth at eee@maine.rr.com.
Jennifer Grotheer Mims and her husband Brian announce the birth of their third son, Jackson Thomas Mims (Jack) on March 18,1993. He joins his brothers, Will, 5 and Matthew, 2. The Mims live in Savannah.
1997
Bradley Fickett competed in London last July as one of eight finalists in BP’s yearly worldwide contest on “Unique Applications of Technology.” He presented his project on “Mechanical Robotic Dredging” to the senior executive committee of the company. Bradley is a mechanical engineer with BP and resides in Mt. Pleasant, S.C with his wife Kasey.
Dan Ward graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in December 2002 with a B.A. in English Communications and a minor in Photography. He is Associate Editor of Truckin' Magazine and currently lives in Fullerton, California.
1998
Anne Cooper graduated from East Carolina University in December 2002 with a BS degree in Hospitality Management. She then served a five-month internship with Georgia Congressman Jack Kingston and is now a full-time assistant on Congressman Kingston’s Capitol Hill staff. She reminds Raider readers to be sure and catch the movie, “Seabiscuit” in theatres this summer, co-starring her Oscar-winning uncle, Chris Cooper!
Stephen Burgstiner and Summer McCarthy ‘99 were married August 2, 2003 at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in Savannah. Both are seniors at Armstrong Atlantic State University, majoring in Economics.
1999
Meredith Boggs has had a busy 2002 between broadcast journalism studies at Georgia Southern University and successfully competing in pageants. She captured the 2002 Miss Oktoberfest crown in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario Canada last year, which was televised throughout Canada. She presided at the Opening Ceremonies, made more than 100 public appearances, including visits to schools to speak to more than 15,000 students and participated in numerous Oktoberfest events. The following month, she was a semifinalist and received the “Photogenic Award” in the Miss Georgia USA pageant. Meredith appeared in the Prom issue of Pageantry Magazine and on the cover of Supermodels Unlimited. Her ambition is to be a news anchor with a major network. She is actively involved with many service clubs and activities, and initiated a schools program to speak to students about the importance of volunteering and mentoring youth in need of guidance and companionship.
Allison Lee graduated from the University of Georgia last August with a BA degree in Political Science.
Mac McClurkin recently completed an internship at ASA (Delta Airlines) in Atlanta. He will return to Auburn University in the fall to complete his degree in Aviation Management. Mac has been in the Honors College at Auburn and a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Eta Mu Sigma Honor Societies. Mac has also Co-oped at Southwest Airlines in Dallas and interned at Vulcan Materials Co. in Birmingham.
Matt Toler served an internship on Congressman Jack Kingston’s staff this summer. He is a senior at the University of Georgia.
2000
Elizabeth Browne has been awarded a $5,000 academic scholarship from the PGA of America’s Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship Program. The program was established in 1986 to promote higher education goals for the children and grandchildren of PGA Professionals. Elizabeth is one of only ten college students nationwide to receive $5,000 academic scholarships this year. A senior Speech Communications major at the University of Georgia, Elizabeth currently has a 3.78 GPA and has received President’s honors the last three semesters. She plans to begin the Masters degree program in Sports Communications after graduation in May 2004. Last summer she interned with the Savannah Sports Council. Through her membership in Alpha Delta Pi sorority, she volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House and works as a mentor to elementary school students.
2001
Erica Margrave has been accepted into the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. She begins this fall as a member of the Class of 2007.
Katie McDermott was one of 42 students selected to participate in the 2003 University of Georgia LeaderShape Institute. She was also selected to serve as a counselor for this summer’s DawgCamp, which teaches incoming first-year students basic leadership skills and helps get them involved in campus activities.
Sarah Rosenblum was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma national honorary society at Loyola University where she is a junior majoring in Psychology.
2002
Corey Fidler has completed his first season playing football at Presbyterian College. He finished the season as the third leading rusher on the team
Clayborne Rhodes has been inducted into national academic honor societies Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma at the University of Georgia. She is a Sophomore pre-nursing major.
