| Sportsmen once traveled from around the country to
hunt quail, pheasant, and mallard ducks, and fish the two lakes on the 400 acres of property known
as Sportman’s Paradise. |

| Chatham County dug out the two large lakes as a favor because
of the nearly 1000 underprivileged Savannah-area children who benefited from the Union Rescue Mission Bible Clubs
camps each summer. | |
|
| Although skeptics claimed the lakes would never be full,
shortly after the lakes were dug out, a passing hurricane dumped around nine
inches of rain on the area and filled them up with about ten feet of water. |
|

| Cocurricular activities
at Savannah Christian Preparatory School provide various additional opportunities for student achievement, education, and growth.
Coaches, directors, faculty, or other professionals typically provide leadership for these activities.
In addition to the activities listed in the table below, we offer Lower School students on the
Chatham Parkway campus:
